Aloha Brandon - I played trumpet. Later in the Navy, I performed in more pop/rock groups, where we all sang lead or b/up, and I sang lead on anything that didn't require a 'nice' voice, hah (thankfully, many tunes from the 80s didn't). After being timid for years, I loved being the front man in bands, and it helped my confidence with the baton later in my career.
